Stefan’S Radiation Constant Appt

Comprising a blackened hollow hemisphere about 25cm dia (having hole as its centre) tted on wooden platform, with three supporting legs.

The said hemispherical body is surrounded by a steam chamber & said steam chamber has an arrangement to accommodate two thermometers, which measure the constant temperature of hot surface. A blackened silver disc soldered to the bottom to copper – constantan thermocouple housed in ebonite tube with lid. Central hole can be closed by
shutter when the silver disc is taken outside. Supplied complete with one extra thermocouple for calibration, but without thermometer.
