Shear Force Apparatus

A complete setup designed to demonstrate shear force in beams.

The apparatus consists of: ·

A seasoned wooden bar, 180 cm in length, hinged at 60cm along its length.

Two knife-edge supports mounted on a stable stand to simulate simple support conditions.

A dynamometer equipped with an adjusting screw to maintain the alignment of the beam under various loading conditions. ·

Three sliding U-shaped weights for applying variable loads along the beam.

Ideal for eductaional demonstrations and laboratory experiments on shear force distribution and equilibrium in beams.
