Searle’S Thermal Conductivity Apparatus

It consist of a copper rod 30x2.5 cms dia with its one end surrounded with a steam jacket for heating it from a steam boiler and the other end is kept cool by a flow of water through a spiral tube fitted on the end. Fitted in a well polished teak wood case lined with felt for thermal insulation. 

The water from constant level water head passes through the tube. The temperature of in flowing & out owing water is recorded by sensitive thermometers.

Supplied without Constant Level Tank, Thermometers, Steam Boiler & Hot Plate.
