The microscope tube has magnification of 30x and focus adjustmentthrough a rack and pinion arrangement. Newton's ring set includes anoptical flat glass one Plano- convex lens (40mm radius) arranged inside ametal case resting over the stage of the instrument which can be adjustedfor the alignment of the measuring line. Additionally, the instrument has an adjustable reflector plate and a condenser lens for proper alignment and enhanced functionality.
