Various Components are made from high precision machines, mounted on the aluminium base and the complete interferometer is mounted on a heavy cast iron base. It consists of beam splitter and compensator Plates mounted in an aluminium housing. It is fitted on the aluminium base at 45° to two reflecting mirrors.
