Melde'S Apparatus

(INCO PATTERN) This massive and powerful fork which has a frequency of approximately 60 vibrations per sec., is ideal for producing standing waves and is mounted on a heavy cast iron base. Other specifications are same as per Cat No. 1185 but on a sturdy streamlined base with provision for horizontal or vertical experiments (Transverse as well as Longitudinal arrangements). An electromagnet is arranged between the prongs of the fork without touching it.
