Kater's Pendulum is a device used to measure the acceleration due to gravity. It consists of a rigid metal bar with two pivot points, adjustable weights, and knife edges at either end. Consist of :- • Metal Bar: A 120 cm long, one cm diameter steel rod with adjustable knife edges at both ends. • Adjustable Metal Weights: Two cast iron weights, one measuring 7.5 x 3.75 cm and the other 3.5 x 3.75 cm. These weights can slide along the bar and be clamped at any position.
