Ionization Potential OF Mercury

This unit consists of a built-in variable power supply and a mercury valve mounted on board. The apparatus is designed for laboratory experiments involving ionization and leakage current measurements.

Consist of variable IC regulated power supply 0-30V DC @ 1 Amp & output via H.T. terminals. Fixed low tension power supply giving output 2.5-volt DC at maximum current of 5 Amp output via L.T. terminals.

Two analog meters - one is voltmeter and another one is of dual rang (microampere and milliampere) is provided on the front panel.

Press Switch: Engaged to measure leakage current (in µA) before  ionization occurs.

Mercury Diodes is Separately fitted on board

Used for studying electrical conduction and ionization characteristics.
