FLY Wheel With Counter

A flywheel is a mechanical device that stores rotational energy using angular momentum. This model consists of a precisely machined cast iron wheel (20 cm diameter, 4.4 cm thick) with a steel axle supported by ball bearings in sturdy iron brackets. The wheel is painted grey or black, with a red/white marking for visibility. A pointer is fixed on one bracket for reference.

A diametric hole in the shaft accommodates a pin and cord, which detaches when the weight reaches the floor. The base has mounting holes for wall installation. Additionally, the flywheel includes a high-quality Indian-made revolution counter for easy rotation measurement. The apparatus comes complete with a cord and hook, but without weights.
