This apparatus is designed for studying the bending of beams under load. · Beam Material & Dimensions: Solid brass beam, 9 mm square cross-section, 1 meter in length. · Support System: The beam rests on two knife edges, each mounted on heavy, stable stands. These stands are equipped with leveling screws for precise horizontal alignment. · Central Loading System: · A central knife edge with a hanger & pin is used to apply load at the midpoint of the beam.
