Bending OF Beam Apparatus

This apparatus is designed for studying the bending of beams under load.

Beam Material & Dimensions: Solid brass beam, 9 mm square cross-section, 1 meter in length.

Support System: The beam rests on two knife edges, each mounted on heavy, stable stands. These stands are equipped with leveling screws for precise horizontal alignment.

Central Loading System: · A central knife edge with a hanger & pin is used to apply load at the midpoint of the beam.  A vertical graduated glass mirror scale is used as visual reference.

Weights: Includes one hanger (1 kg), 2 slotted weights of 1 kg each, 2 slotted weights of ½ kg each. All weights are cast iron, precision-machined and slotted for easy handling
