Our Abbe Refractometer is an instrument designed to determine the refractive index (nD) and mean dispersion (nF - nC) of transparent or semi-transparent liquid and solid substances. Equipped with a thermostat, the instrument can measure the refractive index (nD) of substances within a temperature range of 0°C to 50°C.
Due to its versatility and precision, the Abbe Refractometer is widely used across various industries, including chemical manufacturing, lubricants, pharmaceuticals, paints, food processing, and sugar rening. It is also employed by academic institutions and scientic research organizations.
Abbe's Double prism leaves a narrow space (about 0.1 mm) between the adjoining faced of the prisms. Compensator consists of the Amici Prisms which serves for reading the line of Ach Separation.
